Top Training at the Top of the South

The Business Management School offers NZQA validated National Certificate courses in Computing, Business Administration, Tourism and Travel. We also offer courses in, Graphics and Web Design. We run the unique Force Course; this course is designed to prepare students for entry into the services, particularly the Army, Police and Fire Service. All courses include elements of literacy and numeracy tailored to individual needs. We also We also offer courses for the local community, including employees in the workplace.

The Literacy course runs four days a week, Monday to Thursday in Nelson and Tuesdays and Thursdays in Blenheim. The course is free and open to all New Zealand residents.

There are two ways in which you can access our free courses:  

TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES PROGRAMMES (TOPs)

If you are 18 years of age or over and did not achieve NCEA at secondary school (or have no more two school cert. subjects) and are registered with WINZ, then you may be able to register for:
National Certificate in Computing at Level 2 or Level 3
National Certificate in Business Administration Level 2 or Level 3
National Certificate in Tourism and Travel (Introductry Skills) Level 2 
National Certificate in Tourism and Travel (Core Skills), Level 3

YOUTH PROGRAMMES

You may be eligible for the same courses as above if you are 16 or 17 years of age or have an early exemption from secondary school. SHORT COURSES
